Rhyncobrassoleya Copper Queen 'H&R' (3.5" pot blooming size)
Product Description
Photo shows a plant recently blooming while still in a 2.5 inch pot. Rby. Copper Queen is a cross between Bc. Richard Mueller and Rlc. Toshie Aoki that was originally registered in 1997. This is a superior, selected form that has all the qualities the name implies. Flowers up to 4" across will eventually be borne in clusters of 4 or 5 as plants mature, but as the photo shows, can bloom with one or two on the next growths produced, especially if not repotted too soon after receipt. Rich apricot orange blooms with a nice spotting pattern on the lip will come on each new growth on plants that easily branch and make new leads. All cattleya types need bright light to flower, not necessarily direct sun, but can be acclimated to morning direct sun. They will also flower well under LED lights that produce 3000 lumens or higher, places 18 to 24 inches above the foliage. The is a lovely and eye catching addition to any collection!
