Rhyncolaeliocattleya Shin Shiang Diamond ‘#1’ (2.5” pot near blooming size)

New! Compact grower with attention grabbing flowers! This recent mericlone introduction from Taiwan is a mix of 18 different Cattleya species and a small shot of Rhyncolaelia digbyana with a breeding line that stretches all the way back to the start of the Twentieth century. Typically, when so many species’ genes are mixed together you get a rather easy to grow orchid tolerant of a wide range of conditions, so we expect this one to do well in all parts of the country. Flowering will favor the cooler months, but well grown mature plants will be capable of blooming twice per year. We have a limited supply of these well grown plants in 2.5” pots that are less than one year away from flowering for the first time.
