Brassocattleya Theresa Ricci (4.5” pot or basket blooming siae)
Product Description
New! This is a remake of a great little hybrid with lots of character originally registered in 2012. It takes Bc. Hippodamia (B. nodosa x C. aclandiae) back to C. aclandiae giving each plant lots of spots, rather flat form and lots of character. The photos show two examples to give you an idea of the results, but each will be a variation on the theme of spotty segments and a broad white and purple lip. The plants are compact growing, but somewhat wandering thanks to the cattleya parent. We are offering blooming size plants two ways, either in a 4.5” square pot with large media, or a 4.5” round plastic basket with hanger. If you grow indoors without any humidity controls the first option is likely better for your conditions, while the latter is great for controlled growing areas, or for those who summer their plants outdoors in summer heat and humidity. Expect flowers twice pear year that will improve in size as the plants mature.
