New! This new compact growing release from Taiwan has a remarkable color pattern. Neither parent in the cross has this sort of dramatic look, but some serendipitous combination of genetics has created flowers with white segments, precisely overlaid with yellow flares and a deep purple lip accented by two intense yellow “eye” spots. When plants are mature, they can produce a substantial cluster of these unusual blooms. Because of the multitude of species in its family tree, Rth. Fu Shu Glory ‘Happy Holiday’ will be easy to grow and flower under typical cattleya conditions. These are currently overflowing 2.5” pots and ready to be stepped up, with first blooms possible within a year. Note that the color pattern takes a few days to develop after the buds open.
