Cymbidium Mad Hatter x Tavoy (2.5” pot young seedling)

New! Here is another fantastic seedling cross we imported as flasks from Pakkret Floriculture in Bangkok Thailand. It will produce relatively compact plants with loads of pendant inflorescences in spring into summer when mature. Cym. Mad Hatter is about one half Cym. devonianum and is know for its masses of purple and green flowers. It is a parent of the famous Cym. Geno’s Gem ‘Emerald Fire’ FCC/AOS which produced more than 700 flowers at once when awarded in 2020. Cym. Tavoy is a cross between Cym. dayanum and Cym. finlaysonianum and will add a great color range to the seedings as well as tons of heat tolerance, allowing people in hot climates like Florida as well as cooler norther locations to have success with this cross. These are still young plants in 2.5” pots but they are very quick growers and can reach blooming size in as little as two growing seasons. While the price is low, we recommend purchasing several so that you can enjoy the unique look each seedling will bring.
