Volkertara Mark Alan Reinke 'Bob & Joyce' AM/AOS

I was both honored and and taken by surprise when Claude Hamilton, a notable AOS judge and owner of Hamlyn Orchids in Kingston, Jamaica, registered this hybrid of Ctna. Maui Maid x Rth. Fuchs Orange Nugget in my name! It is a wonderfully compact hybrid which took a few years to show its true potential. This spring it presented three fabulous bouquet-like spikes of uniquely colored flowers and we took it to the AOS judges who gave it an Award of Merit. In fitting tribute, I named the awarded plant after my parents, 'Bob and Joyce'!
